O YOU who have attained to faith! Be ever steadfast in your devotion to God, bearing witness to the truth in all equity; and never let hatred of any-one lead you into the sin of deviating from justice. Be just: this is closest to being God-conscious. And remain conscious of God: verily, God is aware of all that you do.
(Al-Qur’an, Chapter 5, Verse 8)
The ‘siege of Mumbai’ finally ended after nearly 3 days of pitched battles between the terrorists and Indian forces. There was a great post by Juan Cole, the President of the Global Americana Institute, tracing the origins of various Kashmiri militancy groups and their Pakistani and Afghanistani links:

Fareed Zakaria (the editor of Newsweek International and a regular columnist for Newsweek, which also appears in Newsweek International and often The Washington Post and host of the Sunday political talk show ‘GPS’ on CNN) also had a great comment on his weekly CNN program, GPS.
